Self Care and HAIR (Complete with Before & After)

The kids are back at school so now is a great time to think about scheduling any overdue appointments for yourself. I was in dire need of a hair cut, not to mention highlights. Watch the video below to see my look BEFORE and AFTER. Taking the time to take care of myself made a big difference--and I'm not just talking about my hair!


If you've been putting off getting a hair cut, or more importantly--a mammogram or a physical--please take my advice and DO IT. Make a list and make the calls, set the appointments and KEEP THEM! You take care of everyone else...so why not take care of YOU?

    Susan, I couldn't agree more!!We seem to think we are being selfish taking care of ourselves and it's not selfish at all !!!
    p.s. - I am jealous of your BEFORE hair , the after really puts me over the edge! hee!!

    Yes! Self-care is so important and so overlooked by many of us moms. I just completed doctor's and hair appointments for ME! Rock on in your pretty AMAZING way!

    I totally agree. We are so much more concerned about our children's appointments and the darn dog's grooming that we put ourselves so far down on the list of important things. We need to move ourselves up on the priority list. Afterall, if we're not healthy enough to take care of things, who's going to do it in our places??
